Presentations
2008-08-05_Rotary_ego A presentation on my life an work up to 2008 for the local Rotary club. I was a member of Rotary for a short while (I was a Rotary exchange student back in 1994/1995)
2009_03_03_Hvordan_ungaa_familie_bildeloss A presentation I did on how to safely store images and files long term
2009_12_28_hva_er_inni_datamaskin What’s inside a computer and a list of my computers back in 2009. A stroll down memory lane.
2010_06_13_programming Noob introduction to programming languages
2010_09_28_ADCs_tech_for_nanoscale_era Presentation to master students on my Ph.D. and what I had done at that point in my life.
2010_09_29_vaar_venn_elektronet Introduction to electrons. I think this was for a family meeting one time.
2011-03-14_NTNU_ChipMaking_public_release Introduction to integrated circuit manufacture. For 1’st year NTNU students
2012-03-14_NTNU_ChipMaking_for_publication The story on how to make integrated circuits, from idea to assembly and test. For first year students at NTNU. This is probably the presentation you should look at for an introduction to the analog flow
2014-03-20_Making_Integrated_Circuits_public Introduction to electronics. Probably to first year students at NTNU
2014-04-10_Making_Integrated_Circuits_public Pretty much the same presentation as from March. Slightly more info on design - manufacture
2014-08-20-NTNU_IC_public First instance of the “Why” series I think. I had a deep need that the work I did in my life should mean something, so I took my job, and tried to attach a grander theme to the work I did
2015-09-02-NTNU_IC_public Some nice layout pictures. Maybe the first time I used the nRF51 Zepto bars image
2015-10-19_UKA Nordic had some big presentation in Samfunnet during UKA 2015. I don’t remember why I was there, but I did the usual spieal about how to make electronics and why I did it. First apperance of the timeline I think
2016-06-14_NanoNetwork My post-doc story, one of the early presentations on the compiled SAR
2016-09-07_Why Sales pitch from Nordic, and justifying the amount of time I spend on work. At this point in my life I had HR responsibility for about 30 people, tried to set future direction of the Wireless department at Nordic, and I was doing a post-doc on SARs. In retrospect, obviously heading towards my first burn-out.
2016-09-16_ESSCIRC_SAR Presentation of my ESSIRC paper on compiled SAR. At the peak of both my academic prowess and IC design form.
2017_08_30_Making_integrated_circuits Sales pitch for analog design, and Nordic, to first year students at NTNU. At this point, I had been through my first burn-out. Published the best paper I’ll probably ever write, and was in the middle of a separation from my then wife.
2018_08_29_making_ic_and_wireless_public_ntnu Still presenting Nordic, and analog electronics to NTNU. Still recovering from separation, but less work, and remembered as a good year. Probably the most crisp explanation for why I thought I was working with electronics and integrated circuit design (health and co2 reduction)
